One of my top strengths is "Woo -- winning over others". We're the people who love to connect large groups of people.

John's top strength is "Relator" -- he's committed to deep relationships with people. It's not the quantity...it's the quality.

When I saw this huge pot (in shadow), I was excited by the possibility of a big party with gumbo for everyone. That's Woo! |

John invited Francois to join
us for dinner... He praised John's French language skills. |
Solitude is important for all of us....but community matters, too. We know we're blessed to be walking the Camino together.

When John sees a pilgrim dining alone, he'll ask them to join us -- sometimes they say yes....sometimes they say no. But he keeps asking.
Once we've made the connection, I'll usually invite them to visit us in Bay St Louis -- and actually hope they'll come!
Our Camino family keeps getting bigger -- John and I keep finding new and wonderful ways to celebrate our differences and our strengths.
